Maybe this place is a very good substitute to visit instead of Tibet, because one must be acclimatized first in going there to adjust with the thinning Oxygen. I have long fancied going there, so this area might be more accessible. Everything is vivid and colorful. I guess you bought one of those prayer wheels as souvenirs. BTW, we have some similarity with that self photo.
How quaint and exotic everything looks! I saw the Tibetan community in Sichuan, but regrettably did not visit their places of attraction, so your photos helped to make up for what I had missed!
These colors are amazing, Keats, as always. But it's when you take pictures of people that you shine. You make me want to know more about them, and I wonder what their lives are like. Excellent post.
Successes and failures

When I first started my blog I set out with the intention of showing my
gardening exploits GOOD or BAD, and not shying away from admitting any
failures. So...
You have visited an amazing place Keats. And you look great too from around the corner! :)
ReplyDeleteFabulous photos! Everything is so colorful there!
ReplyDeleteWhy are the flags so tall and huge? They must be very heavy.
ReplyDeleteDid that tall good looking chap know that you were sneaking up from behind?
I think I would have bought some of those items on the 3rd photo from below.
